Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrival at Kochi

On arrival in Kochi, you’ll be picked up by our representative who will transfer you to hotel. Check in to hotel, after getting some rest get ready to explore Kochi.

Places to visit:

    • The Chinese Net at beach – Beautiful view from Vasco-Da-Gama square, narrow walkway runs along the Fort kochi Beach. Chinese net made of teakwood & bamboo poles works on principle of balance.

    • St. Francis Church – Built in 1503, one of the oldest European churches in India.

    • The Mattancherry Palace – Popularly known as Dutch Palace. It features Kerala Murals depicting portraits & exhibits of Rajas of Kochi.

    • Spice markets

    • Jewish Synagogue – It’s a Jewish religious place. Jewish attend religious services & special ceremonies here.

    • Cochin Marine Drive – Also known as APJ Abdul Kalam Marg, build facing the backwaters & is a popular hangout place for locals & tourists.

In the evening return back to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 2 - Munnar excursion

After the breakfast at the hotel, get ready to explore Munnar,

Places to visit:

    • Tea museum

    • Kundala Dam – Also known as Setuparavatipuram Dam, is a masonry gravity dam built on Muthir apuzha river in Mattupetty. It’s Asia’s first Arch dam & first hydro project in Kerala.

    • Eravikulam National Park – It consists of high rolling plateau & high altitude grasslands. You’ll find Highest peak named Anamudi & 26 species of mammals in this park.

    • Mattupetty

    • Pothmedu – It offers a panoramic view of Munnar & surrounding hills covered with coffee cardamom, pepper & tea plantations.

Later reach the local market and explore.

In the evening return back to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3 - Transit to Thekkady and Jungle Safari at Periyan National Park

After breakfast at the hotel transit to Thekkady. On arrival, check-in at hotel and get ready for the next adventure.

Places to visit:

    • Periyar Lake - Tucked in the heart of the jungle, Thekkady or Periyar Lake is famous for its wide varieties of wildlife. You can also take a boat ride in the reservoir that provides water to the forest.

    • Periyar National Park – It is the perfect example of nature's bounty with great scenic beauty and rich biodiversity. In this astounding location of Kerala, the Periyar National Park is considered as the most protected area for the elephants and the tigers.

In the evening return back to hotel for dinner and overnight stay

Day 4 - Transit to Alleppy (Venice of the East) & House Boat Stay

After breakfast at the hotel, check-out and start your journey towards Alleppy. After reaching, check-in to the house boat, which is worth every penny spent.

Alleppy is best known for house boat cruises around rustic Kerala backwaters, a network of tranquil canals & lagoons. Spend the day in the houseboat, dinner and overnight stay in the houseboat.

Day 5 - Back to Kochi

After experiencing the houseboat, have breakfast and get ready to explore more of Allepy.

Places to visit:

    • Allepy Beach - Its 150-year-old pier overlooking the sea and palm groves dotted across its shores. You can visit Allapuzha lighthouse that is I walking distance from Allepy Beach.

    • Mullakkal Rajarajeswari Temple - The temple is built in a grand Kerala style. Goddess Durga is the main deity. The other deities of the temple include Lord Hanuman, Lord Ganesha, Lord Krishna, Lord Ayyappa, Nagaraja, and the Navagraha [the nine planets]. The temple is believed to be almost 500 years old.

    • Punnamada Lake - The lake is popular for hosting the very famous boat race called Nehru Trophy boat race. The race is held during the renowned Onam festival.

Later drive to Kochi & Check in to hotel for overnight stay.

Day 6 - Tour Ends

After breakfast at the hotel, checkout and our representative will drop you at the airport for onwards journey towards home.
